Imported 17.3HH Black Shire Broodmare

West Fen Billie has huge feet (over 9" without shoes), tons of fine feather, flat bone, big barrel, and just big all the way around.  She is an excellent mother and hasn't had any problems putting foals on the ground.  She has given us two excellent foals, Manny and Angie.  Billie has been bred back to Danny Boy and is due to foal in March, 2010.  Billie is trained to drive and to ride.

18HH Black Shire Mare

Sassy Supreme Daisey Marie is now being offered for sale.
She is due to foal in January and is bred via imported frozen semen to Moorfield Edward.
Marie is trained to drive and will be shown in cart and halter at many of the 2009 shows including the National Shire show in St. Paul, MN.  You will not find a better mare out there.  This is a big mare standing OVER 18HH at four years of age.  She has already proven herself in the show ring taking the 2008 National Best American Bred Mare and the Grand Champion Mare title at the New England regional Shire show.  This mare has a neck that doesn't stop, is BLACK as they come, and is the sweetest horse that you will ever be lucky enough to own.  The only reason we have her for sale is to give us more time to concentrate on our hitch geldings.
